I know it’s hard right now.
Maybe you’re a few days after birth and your baby is nursing, for what seems like, every single minute of every single day, and you feel trapped and like they will never, ever stop.
Maybe you’re only a few days post revision and your baby is in pain and you’re thinking you made a mistake.
Maybe your baby is on strike and no matter what you’re trying your baby just won’t latch and you think this is the end.
Maybe you just opened up your Facebook support group because you’re at a loss.
It’s OK, we’re here. No question is a dumb question.
What do you got for us? We’re ready.
Maybe your baby bit you and you’re thinking they will always bite so this must be the end.
Maybe you’re just starting back to work and your supply dropped and you just don’t know how you’ll be a working, pumping Mom.
No matter what is going on right now, I know it’s hard.
It’s OK to cry.
It’s OK to feel utterly broken.
But just know, this will pass.
Take one day at a time. One stretch at a time. One breastfeeding session at a time.
And if you need to go and scream into a pillow, do that, because you need to do what you need to do to be your best self for your baby.
We all need a break (or a shower) at some point.
So go mama, take care of you, and come back ready for anything and do what needs getting done.
You can do this.
And before you know it, they’ll be eating cheerios off the mini van floor and you’ll think, “Whatev.. thanks for cleaning!”
